Panel applications open January 1st, 2018! We are looking for people interested in providing informative or entertaining panels at Hazard Con 2018. If you want to run a panel or workshop all you have to do is submit an application on our website when the time comes. To show our appreciation to all accepted panelists, they will receive 33% of their badge price back for each panel they complete (up to 100%). Learn more about panels and workshops here. We have some great news regarding hotels to stay at. We have special rates at both the Hilton Garden Inn and the Courtyard Marriott. They are both $149.00 a night. This is a $30 drop from the special rate we were able to get for our attendees last year. Both of these hotels are connected to the Ambassador Center to make getting to and from the event simple and easy. Check them out here. Look for more hotel information to come! We are pleased to announce that the amazing Josh Grelle will be joining us for Hazard Con 2018!
Josh is a life-long geek and actor with over 200 voice credits in his 10+year career. His favorite roles include Attack on Titan (Armin), Yuri on Ice (Yuri Katsuki), Princess Jellyfish (Kuranosuke), The Devil is a Part-Timer (Sadao Maou), Drifters (Toyohisa), RWBY (Tyrian), Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple (Kenichi), and Snow White with the Red Hair (Zen). The 2018 weekend badge registration rates are as follows: Early Bird - $30 (if purchased between November 1st - February 28th) Pre-Registration - $35 (if purchased between March 1st - June 30th) At Door - $40 (Available Friday and Saturday at event) We received so many requests in our feedback surveys for single day, at-door badges, we just had to deliver! Friday only - $20 Saturday only - $30 Sunday only - $15 Also new for 2018 is our modified children's rate. Children 8 and under are FREE with a paid adult admission! Charles Dunbar is a fan of many things, of which anime and Japanese culture are but one (admittedly large) sphere. After discovering the medium through Dragonball Z in high school, he spent his formative college years indulging in giant robots, Pokemon, JRPGs, and Rurouni Kenshin, never expecting his coursework in cultural anthropology to ever intersect with his burgeoning fandom identity.
