Introducing our master of ceremonies, Charles Dunbar!
Charles Dunbar is a fan of many things, of which anime and Japanese culture are but one (admittedly large) sphere. After discovering the medium through Dragonball Z in high school, he spent his formative college years indulging in giant robots, Pokemon, JRPGs, and Rurouni Kenshin, never expecting his coursework in cultural anthropology to ever intersect with his burgeoning fandom identity. This was only the first of many instances when the Universe decided to troll him for his obliviousness.

Retrocade Erie is the provider for all your retro gaming needs right here in the Erie, Pennsylvania area! Feel the nostalgia as we showcase the very best, the strange, and downright odd relics of gaming from years past. Feel free to stop on by and relive the days when gaming was nothing more than mere pixels on the glass screen. All of us here at Retrocade Erie look forward to seeing you at Hazard Con this year!
Hazard Con would like to introduce everyone to our mascots, and share their background!
Meet Oliver and Anna!
Their names come from Oliver Hazard Perry, the person our convention is named after, and Anna Marie Perry Rodgers, Oliver Perry’s younger sister.
When designing our mascots, we wanted them to have a very anime look, while still representing Erie and Pennsylvania.
You can read more about them here.
We would like to introduce everyone to our featured performance group, PilkiPerfume! PilkiPerfume is Pennsylvania's top tribute act to jpop group Perfume.
Comprised of best friends k~chan and KARiYUKA, they've created Perfume dance covers on YouTube for two years now, along with producing original cosplay for many videos. They are now excited to perform at the first annual Hazard Con, in their hometown of Erie. If you would like to see their wonderful dance covers, please check out their youtube channel: YouTube.com/PilkiPerfume
Their performances will be Friday evening and Saturday afternoon! Exact times will be available later.
